Drew and his team took care of everything on the day of the wedding. They thoughtfully catered to all of the dietary requests, making sure that the non-meat guests were served with something just as delicious as the other guests, with an adequate protein alternative (not just another mushroom risotto!). The food was incredible and was like we were having fine dining at our own wedding e.g. oysters with ponzu, kingfish sashimi tacos, truffle arancini balls, seared scallops, slow cooked lamb shoulder, potato and confit onion gratin. Drew's team also approached me (the bride) and the groom during our extended canape session to make sure that we ate food while mingling. The communication in the lead up to the wedding was a little slow, but was more than made up for with the excellent service on the day of the wedding. In addition to the dessert that we ordered from Short St Kitchen, we separately brought in donuts, a three tiered cupcake stand and decorations. Without any instruction from us, these donuts were all set up with the decorations in an aesthetic way, ready for our 'donut cutting'. We didn't have to worry about the food at all and received compliments on the food for many weeks after the wedding.

Wedding Caterers

Our perfect day was at Waldara Farm. It is an absolutely breathtaking venue from every direction. From the rolling green lawns, the colourful flowers in the garden, water fountain, lake, jetty, gazebo and the reception barn, it is a photographer's dream. We took pictures at a different spot on the venue all throughout the day of the wedding. It was so convenient and we did not have to travel offsite to take beautiful sunset photos. We also had the pleasure of staying onsite, which took the stress out of travelling and finding accommodation. Bec, the venue manager, and the team expertly took care of everything for us on the day of the wedding. We didn't have a wedding planner and we didn't need one because Bec was there at all points of the day. She kept us to our ambitious schedule, moving us along and making sure we had enough time for everything. Bec also expertly handled a few curve balls on the day of the wedding, such as last minute guest drop-outs and rearranging tables and seating. Bec also coordinated and worked with our other vendors - e.g. celebrant/MC, photographers, caterers, musicians. All of this happened in the background while we enjoyed the day.

Wedding Venues

Rita did my hair, and the hair for my three bridesmaids and mother-in-law. The hair was absolutely beautiful. Rita also came the afternoon before to blow dry and apply product in the hair to cut down the styling time the next day. Rita also came with her extensions and put them in without any extra cost.

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Raj, Emma and DJ Ami were so talented and professional. They arrived hours in advance to ensure set up of the acoustics and liaised quite seamlessly with the venue. They were very well-prepared and played all of our song requests - including specific recordings and edited pieces. We were welcomed by the beautiful acoustic instrumentals and vocals by Raj and Emma all through the day and DJ Ami turned the party on during dinner and through the night on the dance floor. We had music on all day- from the ceremony in the early afternoon, until the end of the night.
