They say that it is all about the dress and what a dress mine was! I had passed the shop in North Fitzroy since I was a little girl and mum and I thought we would pop in and have a browse. I didn’t have an appointment but was quickly accommodated after enquiring about trying a dress on. As soon as I tried it on, I was in tears and mum was in tears, it was obviously the one. The fitters and the seamstress were great with my alterations appointments and truly made sure that it was just perfect for me. Comments on the dress continue to roll in especially from my husband and the photos of it are incredible!

Ellen first did my make up at my sister’s wedding and I was so impressed that I had to book her immediately for my wedding! I found Ellen to be incredibly talented and easily demonstrated the ability to translate ideas into reality. Conveniently Ellen travelled to me for the trial and on the wedding day. Ellen was extremely personable and made the experience relaxing yet fun. Ellen did my makeup and hair as well as my mum and sisters well within the timeframe and with ease. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and I would highly recommend Ellen to anyone for their special day.

Kelly Stephen’s showed the upmost professionalism throughout the entire wedding process and the end result has been simply amazing. Kelly made herself easily available to all our numerous enquiries, provided much needed suggestions and considerate reminders. Kelly provided a comfortable space to think creatively about our photo requirements and she truly implemented what we were hoping to achieve! On the day Kelly was incredible to work with and she went above and beyond her role assisting me in a last minute rush to the car. Kelly utilized the various settings at the ceremony and captured the most important moments. Despite the day being long, her equipment heavy and the warm weather, Kelly volunteered without prompting to stay a longer as we had run overtime at no extra cost. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our photos and the comments continue to stream in. Most comments are along the lines ‘that photo belongs in a magazine’ or ‘stunning’! We were so lucky to have secured Kelly’s services.

Break taking views, professional management and service, delicious food and stunning decor; these are just a few ways of describing the incredible experience that my husband, myself and our guests enjoyed at our wedding at Forest Edge. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we pulled into the driveway and we were absolutely delighted when we secured it for our special day. The Manager Bev Butterworth was tremendously professional, accommodating and assisted to develop a creative and spectacular event. Comments have described the wedding as the best they have been to and we all agreed that the food was simply superb.
