My friend, Sally Riemann, acted as celebrant for my wedding 2 weeks ago. My fiancee, Bryan, and I couldn't have been in better hands! From the beginning Sally had a hands on approach and nothing was too much trouble. She was very proactive in suggesting things with regards set up, nature of ceremony and even our order of service. However, her focus is on every wedding being an individual experience and "what the couple want". She is there to be guided by you; not to impose her suggestions or ideas on you. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding - and I'd have Sally officiate for us again in a heartbeat. I can't speak highly enough of her professionaliam, her humour, her ability to defuse my tensions, and and her pre-wedding and post-wedding "follow-ups and 'how are you's ' ". Sally, thank you for being there for us on the most important day of our life.

Ladies, you will know when you have found "the" dress. I just hope it's at A Bridal Affair as they really deserve your business. From beginning to end they were so helpful with suggestions and assisted me greatly with altering my dress. I had very little time to organise my wedding and they rushed everything through for me to the best of their ability and always met the time they gave me for dress arriving, alterations to be completed by, etc. My alterations were great and invisible. My sisters bridesmaid dress was altered elsewhere and was a very slapdash exercise. I can't speak highly enough of A Bridal Affair - Sandra and her staff were great to deal with. Sandra even provided me with a diet when I needed to lose a few extra pounds!

To be fair I can't actually comment on shoes from Benelli. After twice visiting the store and not being served I decided to go somewhere my business was welcome. The second time in the store I was in there for 20 mins. My partner was waiting outside and thougth I must be successful given the time I was in there. He was appalled I'd not yet been served. It was a Saturday and of course they were busy - but don't most brides work and aren't all stores busy on the weekends? At one time the manager went to get someone to serve me. Someone else appeared and promptly served someone who had just walked in! I would give this one a miss unless you have plenty of time to wait.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I've been going to the Forrest Centre for some years now for lunches with friends during the busy city lunch period. Greg and his staff at the Forrest Centre always make us welcome and provide value for money. It made sense to have my wedding at a venue that I support all year round and who never fail to impress me with their hospitality. However, I was blown away in how the reception centre transformed from a busy bar and bistro to a magical setting for a wedding. Do yourself a favour and before you book anywhere else check the packages Greg or his manager, Jane, can offer you. We couldn't have wished for a better day - set up was fantastic and in line with our desires; food was ample, delightful and good value; staff were friendly and attentive; location was fantastic (St George's Tce in city centre). Thanks Greg, Jane and team for all your efforts. People are still talking about my wedding and I can't believe "we" achieved all of this on our budget!
