It is no surprise that Acacia Ridge has been voted best wedding venue by brides two years in a row. Cathy and Lachlan were fantastic, they were relaxed and flexible and made the whole process really easy and fun! The venue speaks for itself - it is absolutely beautiful! The views of the valley are to die for and the reception area is rustic charm at its best.

We had so many comments from our guests about how great our celebrant was. We were so comfortable with Paul, and he captured our story perfectly and told it in a way which was a perfect combination of sweet, funny, and serious to suit the occasion. So much fun!

Jake was fantastic on the day - we were a little worried having not "modelled" in front of a camera before but his direction made it so easy and fun! We were blown away by the quality of the images and how he was able to capture the mood of the day - incredible!

We went with a very basic package and cheaper option for the DJ as we really just wanted someone to play our music without guests chopping and changing songs if we were to just use an ipod. I guess we got what we paid for - the guests were happy as the music was played and everyone was able to dance, but it was the finer details that you get if you pay a little bit more that we felt were lacking. The DJ was probably quite inexperienced in weddings, he didn't get the bridal party entrance music quite right, he continued playing music in the background during my Dad's speech and we had to tell him to cut it, then the music just completely cut out at one point and the DJ had no idea what to do about it. But most of that was small stuff that really didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. If I were to do it again, I would probably spend a little more money to get someone more experienced.

Sheridan did a wonderful job making myself and my sister look amazing on the day. She was lovely to work with and clearly knew her stuff. Very happy with my choice as I felt so comfortable and beautiful on the day and the makeup stood the test of time despite the 30 degree heat!

We were very happy with the catering on the night, all of the guests were fed and those with dietary requirements were catered to. The quality of food and flavours was really good and the staff were very professional.
