Eagle ridge was the first and last venue we looked at. The minute we stepped out onto those stunning steps we knew that was the place we wanted to say I do. Mary our wedding coordinator was fantastic to work with. Nothing was every too much trouble for Mary who went about and beyond to help make our dream wedding a reality. Everything from the planning and set up to the food and staff was phenomenal! We couldn’t have been happier and received many compliments about the food and venue.

We had a three-tier buttercream cake delicately decorated with blush and white roses and finished with a custom made Mr and Mrs Hardy cake topper. It was delicious!! Sue did an incredible job with the cake and it was meticulously finished to the highest standard.

I always knew the style of dress I would wear. I had found a picture of my dress online and had a funny feeling I would fall in love with it once I tried it on. I on purpose tried on many different styles and saved that one for last. I yelled out to my mother from the change room “Omg this is it!! I found my dress!” and as I had thought it was exactly what I had always dreamed I would wear. However, I decided to wait a few months and buy it closer to the wedding date. I purchased that dress a couple of month later and couldn’t have been happier with the way it felt on.

The bridesmaids picked their dresses and all of them wear so happy with the design and color. The girls looked stunning in the floor length navy blue dresses which had a stunning illusion lace neckline. The navy blue contrasted nicely against the blush and white roses in their bouquets.

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Hotel in mornington however a little funny story that happened on the night was that our wedding ran longer than we had thought and didn’t actually arrive at the hotel until well after 3am. As it happened there were no staff available that late and the only way into the hotel was via the rear entrance which happens to also be the fire escape. It would have been a pretty funny sight watching my new husband carrying all of our belongings and myself attempting to get up the stairs in my enormous ball gown wedding dress! Ahah once in the hotel we had a lovely stay followed by a yummy breakfast overlooking the bay from our balcony.
