With over a thousand of celebrants within the Sydney region, it took us a while to narrow it down to Kris Rose. Initially we short listed over 10 celebrants and had a skype call with each of them. We finally picked Kris Rose as our celebrant as she sounded very professional and experienced. We were lucky and thankful that we picked her! In our first meeting, she gave a stack of useful information that would come in handy before & after the marriage. More importantly, she gave us a breakdown in details on what information she would need from us to make it a smooth ceremony. We really like how she listened to our needs attentively, gave good suggestions on how to make our ceremony better than what we envisioned. We had a final call with her a week before the wedding and she was able to give us in details on what would happen on that day and that gave us a great level of comfort ! On the morning of the ceremony, Kris was very organized and helpful. And during the ceremony, she was very articulate and managed the whole ceremony very well. It was everything we hoped for :) I would highly recommend Kris Rose if you need a celebrant for your wedding!

Marriage Celebrants

There are many wedding photographers to choose from in Sydney so it took us a while to narrow down our choice to Lightheart Photography. We liked their realistic style that wasn't overly dramatic; they captured a more natural look than many of the others. They were always prompt in their replies to our queries and were very helpful in tailoring a customized package for us. Even though we could not visit their office for a consultation, email communication with them was just as effective. My partner and I were very awkward when we first started our engagement photo shoot with Adrian, our photographer. Neither of us had taken professional photos before and had no idea how to pose or smile naturally at the camera. However, Adrian was really friendly and patient which put us at ease. We were worried that the photos would turn out unnatural because of our inexperience but they were perfect. Seeing our photographer for the second time on our wedding day is like seeing a friend instead of a stranger. This helped a lot especially both of us were quite nervous. And again, he was very patient as I had difficulty following his instructions to pose. It was also nice to see him in business casual attire on both occasions. Just a minor detail but it showed professionalism. We had only seen a few sneak previews of our wedding photos and they were absolutely stunning. It was everything we hoped for and then some. We definitely felt fortunate to have chosen Lightheart Photography for the most important day of our lives.

Wedding Photography

We visited Cake Atelier a few months before our wedding for a consultation. We merely gave her a few pointers on how we envisioned our wedding cake and Naco was able to draw a sketch on how it would look like. (probably through her years of work experience and expertise in cakes!). She was very helpful in providing guidance and suggestions. The tasting was probably the fun part of the consultation ! There were so many different flavours and oh man, all of them were good! Our favourites were probably lemon, green tea and red velvet....We ended up choosing the lemon flavour. The end product was EVERYTHING I hoped for. More importantly, it tasted so good! The cake sponge was light and fluffy, the lemon flavour really helped to cut through the richness of our first two courses. I cannot thank Naco enough for making such a special cake of my big day. I would highly recommend Cake Atelier to make you a cake for your special occasion! :)

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Bridal bouquet and floral arrangement are a huge part of a wedding as it sets the tone of the wedding. Amongst all the florists I contacted during the planning stage of my wedding, Art of Flower was the only business that came back on my queries promptly and more importantly, willing to work within our budget. Both of us weren't familiar with flowers, we couldn't give Amy a clear direction of what we were looking for. However, during the consultation session, Amy gave heaps of suggestions and a level of comfort that she would be able to recreate what we were envisioning. The end result was beyond expectation and was everything I hoped for. I will highly recommend Amy from Art of Flower if you have any floral needs!
