If you're after a do-it-yourself option for wedding decorations, Koch & Co. is the place to go. They have everything from gift boxes, wrapping paper, candles, glass jars and vases for flower decorations, baskets and a huge range of life-like artificial flowers. Prices are ridiculously reasonable and you'll save yourself a fortune!

The theme for our wedding was "understated elegance" and Abbey from Love Sick Weddings provided the perfect styling. We hired chairs, a carpet runner, easel, we had a drinks station with a waiter (absolutely the best decision we made!) and a signing table. In addition, Abbey was able to transport items from our signing table to the reception after the ceremony (about 100m down the road). Nothing was too much trouble, Abbey was very easy to work with and we were thrilled with the results!

With my fiancee being from the Balkan region of Europe, it's a challenge finding well-fitting suits in Australia, unless they're tailor-made. It's for this reason that we regularly travel to Canberra from Sydney to meet with Rodney from Blades Menswear. It was no different when we were choosing suits for our wedding - off we travelled with best man in tow, for suit fittings for our wedding. Rodney really knows exactly how to dress his customers - he has a wonderfully warm manner and carefully makes appropriate suggestions as to what looks good. It's well worth a visit to check out their selection.

With my two bridesmaids living in Perth and me in Sydney, trying on and choosing our dresses required a bit more planning than usual. After trawling through dozens of wedding attire websites, I finally settled on booking a visit with Polly at Oleg Cassini Store in Alexandria, Sydney. And so one afternoon, with both my bridesmaids in Sydney for a couple of days, we spent a very productive few hours with Polly and chose all the dresses at the same time. Polly is brilliant - she is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and knows how to put you at ease. The range of wedding and bridesmaid dresses is extensive and it really helps to spend a few hours browsing the on-line store prior to your visit so you have some idea of your preferences. Polly was then able to lay out all the options as a starting point. I didn't look at any price tags - I chose my dress based on how I felt and was pleasantly surprised to find it was under $700! We ordered and paid on the day and the dresses were made and delivered to us by registered post about 10 weeks later. It was all so much easier than I expected and the finished results were spectacular!

Being a more mature bride and with my bridesmaids ranging in age from 13 to 45, choosing the right supplier for hair and makeup was crucial. We were all so thrilled with Sarah from Blossom Hair and Makeup and her team of assistants who weaved their magic to create a natural, carefree look that was elegant and tasteful. It was important that we weren't made up to look 20 years younger and that our natural, mature beauty was enhanced. The result was simply gorgeous! As a bride, I'd strong recommend having a hair and makeup trial - it certainly put me at ease that I'd made the best choice in choosing Blossom Hair and Makeup for our wedding!

Having heard Slide McBride play at functions previously, when we were deciding what music and style of music for our wedding reception, including pre-dinner drinks and canapes, we didn't look any further than booking Slide McBride. We hired a 3 piece band which worked well at our intimate reception with the band playing out on the deck for our guests while they enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and canapes. Light background jazz music hit the spot during dinner service and then things really cranked up with all the guests hitting the dance floor for a bit of boogy-ing! Highly entertaining, Slide McBride were a hit with all our guests, from youngsters through to the older members of our family. We'd book them again in a heartbeat!

Having sampled Priya from Sugarpot's divine cakes at a Vintage Wedding Fair, we did a bit more research and booked her in immediately! Our experience with Priya has been amazing, from the wedding cake consultation, to tasting and choosing samples, and working with Priya on the design of our cake. Priya puts her heart and soul into every cake she creates and the whole exercise becomes a wonderfully incredible experience. Our wedding cake was a stunning work of art, complementing the bride's wedding dress and the theme for our wedding. Priya was pro-active in working with our florist who provided the fragrant fresh blooms for the cake and the result was a spectacular, delicious masterpiece!

6 weeks out from our wedding and having our previously selected florist fall through, we feel so fortunate to have found Penny from Down the Garden Path! What a gem of a florist! Penny saw our vision immediately - we were after classic, fragrant flowers - you know those flowers that everyone can smell when they walk into a room! And she didn't disappoint! Stunning results - stunning bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, beautiful button holes and understated jars of random fragrant spring flowers for the reception tables. Penny also worked very closely with our cake creator and provided fragrant blooms for the cake. A joy to work with - professional, creative and just a lovely person! We can't recommend Penny highly enough!

What a statement we made when we rocked up to our wedding in a 1959 Cadillac stretch limousine! We wanted transport that was a little out of the norm and this Cadillac is a stunning car that accommodated all our bridal party in style! Diane and Alan were incredibly professional to deal with and very flexible with our request for collecting the groom party and bride party separately to the ceremony location. The Cadillac is in immaculate condition and creates stunning photo opportunities! Highly recommended!
