Luckily for us our hotel was included in the wedding package with Mitchelton Wines. The hotel is beautiful and has an amazing infinity pool which we enjoyed over the weekend, and also a beautiful spot for wedding photos. We are definitely planning to head back for our anniversary.

We used Paperlust for all our wedding stationary. Engagement invites, save the dates, wedding invites and RSVPs/info cards, menus, wedding signage. The website is easy to use, and we were able to tailor the designs to our ideal style. Being located in Richmond, VIC, we also had the option of picking up finished designs once ready.

Jarrah was amazing. He played acoustic guitar during our canapes and pre-dinner, and then DJ'd the remaining of the night. It was so helpful to have such a talented musician who could do both. He tailored both the acoustic set and DJ list to our wants, and secretly arranged with my dad to play an surprise song for the father-daughter dance.

I cannot speak highly enough of Sam and her cake making talent. Firstly, she arranged a tasting sample for us to have a taste of our favourite cake flavours and a sampling of her icing and finishes (I'm not talking mini bite size pieces, I'm taking 4 individual cakes. So generous). Secondly, she went out of her way to perfect her 'cube' cake making and realised our vision of a cube-shaped cake. Thirdly, she arranged for our cake topper and saved us $$. She was so delightful to work with throughout the whole process, and the cakes were delicious.

This venue blew us away. The winery look we wanted, with a modern contemporary feel. We wanted an indoor wedding, and the Mitchelton cellar was just beautiful, it was moody, and dramatic, and wow'd our guests. The grounds of Mitchelton are something else, with the expansive lawn and their amazing new hotel, we couldn't have chosen better.

Emily was a dream to work with. She made us feel relaxed and at ease from the very beginning. She immediately understood the 'vibe' we were wanting, and created a tailored ceremony which is exactly what we were after. Emily got to know us on a personal level and put together a beautiful story and ceremony which our guests still talk about.
