The Convent far exceeded our expectations. From day 1, Tina, Marija and the team were hands on and accomodating in helping us plan everything. Their years of experience showed in their organisation and planning - asking all the right questions and ensuring they had everything they needed to get all the details just right. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding knowing that everything had been thought of and meticulously planned. The service on the day was impeccable and the food was delicious (and plentiful!). Tina was there from managing ceremony entrances to locking up after the last guests left. We can not recommend The Convent more highly. It is so much more than just a beautiful location, it is a one-stop-shop for the perfect day with an experienced, warm and friendly team who take all the stress out of planning a wedding.

Charis was such an important part of our big day. From the time we first spoke to her she guided us through the legal requirements, and was a constant support in the lead up to our wedding day. The thing that impressed us most was that she took a real interest in getting to know us from day one so that she could tell our story in a genuine and accurate way. She stayed in constant contact from the time we first spoke with her months out from our wedding, and kept us on track for the various things we needed to do in preparation for our ceremony. We were so thrilled to have had Charis officiate our ceremony and can’t thank her enough for her warmth, kindness and humour - it felt like having another friend there on the day.

Shaz was a delight to work with! She took the time to walk us through all the amazing options that they offer (and let us taste them all!), didn’t pressure us and guided us on what would work best for our wedding. The cake was amazing - beautiful and delicious! She worked seamlessly with our other suppliers so that it was adorned with flowers from our florist and delivered to the venue without any hassle. She provides a wonderful personal service, even taking the time to leave us a voicemail a day or two ahead of the wedding to reassure us all was in hand and wish us all the best for our big day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shaz and her team to any brides and grooms getting married in the area.

Pauline and Skye were a delight to have around on the morning of our wedding as we prepared. They were professional and fun to be around - perfect to calm any nerves! They accommodated everyone’s requests and ensured time for any last minute changes so there was no rushing as the ceremony approached. The hair and makeup looked perfect and held right throughout the wedding until the band packed up after the last song. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Lounge to any bride getting married in Daylesford.
