My partner and I booked Revel Drive for two reasons. Firstly, the dress I wore was a beautiful but GIGANTIC red lehenga which was just not going to fit through a normal-sized car door (in fact it was a miracle I could sit in it at all). Second because my partner wanted to feel like a king driving in a fancy Tesla. We booked for me and my bridal party to be picked up from our accommodation and driven to the venue, and also a return journey at midnight for my partner and I after the wedding. The booking process was simple, Maricel was really helpful and prompt answering any questions I had in the lead-up. On the day, the cars were beautiful and both drivers were really professional and accommodating and helped make the night special. A big thank you to the whole team.

Wedding Cars

Olivia’s flowers were such a beautiful addition to our wedding. Her flowers were the only decorations we used other than what was supplied by the venue and they were all we needed. We had an initial meeting a few months out where we ran through our budget and the ideal look. We went back and forth changing a few logistics as our requirements changed, then shared a pinterest board with our ideal look a few weeks prior. Our request was colourful, Australian natives and lots of dollar gum. There were a few difficulties with our communication over emails, so I would recommend calling to discuss or finalise details if that makes you nervous. But when we arrived everything was perfect, our venue was so beautifully styled with everything as we had asked. We received so many compliments on the night for the flowers. Really grateful for Olivia’s work.

Wedding Flowers

My partner and I were searching for a service that would design and print our wedding invitations. To us, it was the first impression of the wedding and we wanted it to be beautiful and reflective of the coming wedding. We found Lilykiss and loved the Bordeaux designs so got in touch with Claire. She responded promptly and got onto the design straight away. During the design process there was a lot of back and forth to perfect the invitation as it came back with a few fiddly inconsistencies to what we requested. So I recommend allowing some time for this. Claire was gracious enough to make all the necessary changes we requested before finalising the design. Once we approved the design, Claire had the invites printed and delivered quickly. We really love the end result and we received so many compliments on the design and presentation of the invites.

Wedding Invitations

My partner and I got married at the QVB Tea Rooms and our photographer recommended the Langham for our hotel. She said it was a beautiful for preparation photos due to the architecture, design and natural light. But it was so much more. The wonderful Amrita looked after us in the lead-up and on the day to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, we booked the executive suites as they were so spacious and at one time we had 3 make-up artists, four in the bridal party, my mum and endless family members coming in and out of the room and yet it always felt spacious and comfortable. The staff throughout our stay took such great care of us, and it was such a luxurious stay. Treat yourself on your wedding day and night and stay at the Langham, you won’t regret it!!

Wedding Accommodation

My partner's family is quite religious, and mine family isn’t, so we were looking for a celebrant who would be sensitive to this. When we met with Melissa, we knew straight away that she was the right person. She is calm, professional, has a great sense of humour, and she loves love (you’ll hear her say it!). In the lead up to the wedding, she was so helpful with the legalities, preparations, all our questions and running through the ceremony more than once. On the day, Melissa took such good care of us, helping settle the nerves. Afterwards, we had so many compliments for our ceremony – a large portion for Melissa and the way she conducted the event. Her words touched the hearts of absolutely everyone in the room. My partner and I are so thankful that we chose Melissa to marry us. She is the very best.

Marriage Celebrants

My partner and I had our Indian and Western mix wedding ceremony and reception at the QVB Tea Rooms. Laura met with us and was so professional, calm and organised. In the lead up to the wedding, Laura and Lily were so flexible, supportive and responsive. On the night there were absolutely no issues at all, even with 120 people and COVID restrictions still in place. Willem our floor manager was such a rockstar and a gentleman. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a venue to consider this one. Surprisingly we also found that the QVB cost for value was really the best of all venues we considered. From the venue design, to the food (so delicious!! And our guests with special requirements, e.g. the vegans were so happy), to the service team, everything works so well and is designed to help cater for an amazing experience.

Wedding Venues

To say Kelly was amazing is an absolute understatement. We researched about 20 wedding coordinators and interviewed 3. When we met Kelly, her calm manner and thoroughness won us over and honestly her quote was the most competitive. My partner and I had already found wonderful suppliers and made a runsheet for the evening. But at 2 weeks out we decided we wanted to bring on a coordinator so on the night we didn’t have to worry about logistics. In the final lead-up to the wedding my family constantly heard me saying ‘Kelly is my favourite person’. The actual day was an absolute dream. Kelly was there as our suppliers arrived, she looked after everyone on the night and was the last to leave. Kelly seamlessly coordinated everything to make sure any little hiccups didn’t have an impact. We were so grateful to have her as part of our day.
