We can't thank Simone enough for being such an important part of our day and for making it so fun and easy for us. Not to mention stepping in to tie bow ties, pin brooches and generally just helping everything to run more smoothly. The photo shoot with the bridal party and then just the two of us was one of our favourite parts of the day. Simone created a relaxed and fun atmosphere that made getting photos an enjoyable experience. She captured so many special candid moments along with some beautiful artistic shots.

My partner and I booked Baker Boys for our wedding at UWA in Perth. Liyana was the main contact for organising the logistics and was also the MC and female vocalist for our wedding reception. She was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and did an amazing job on the night. The music throughout the night was excellent and we had so many compliments from our guests. The musicians are incredibly versatile, covering a wide range of genres, including learning a song we requested for our first dance. Having a live band was something we felt was very important to create the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding and Liyana and the Baker Boys Band delivered exactly that – and had us dancing till the end of the night.

We cannot praise Julie and the UWA Club staff enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so incredible. In March 2020 we had our ceremony in the Tropical Grove and the reception in the UWA Club Banquet Hall. It was an absolute dream to have Julie coordinating everything and answering all our questions so efficiently and making sure every detail was covered. The reception room was set up beautifully and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests could not stop talking about the dessert buffet, it was amazing! The UWA Club staff were incredibly flexible and accommodating (right down to setting aside a separate parents room for our guests with newborns). We had an excellent experience with the UWA Club overall and would highly recommend them as a wedding venue.
