Jenny and Gerry's does not have the best reputation for warm, welcoming, friendly service, but they do have an amazing, varied selection of gowns suiting a wide range of styles. Recommended to me by a staff member in one of Adelaide's best known, King William Road stores, I found exactly what I was looking for: a stunning Wendy Makin vintage inspired gown. They are very busy with lots of brides, which is why I think so many 'drop ins' find the service unfriendly. Call in advance to make an appointment and hopefully you'll have a happy experience. Helen is the most beautiful celebrant, we couldnt sing her praises loud enough!! Also the celebrant at my sister's wedding and my niece's Naming Day, Helen is warm, caring and feels like part of the family. She has lots of heartfelt ideas to make your service personal and memorable and won't crack any cringeworthy jokes that so many celebrants do! We love Helen and can promise you will too!

Marriage Celebrants

We had Meg Hansen shoot our wedding and couldn't be happier with our photos. When choosing a photographer, we couldn't look past all the awards that she had won... we thought 'she must be good!' and she is! Meg has an amazing 'eye' for what looks good in photos. She used our natural environment; sunsets and beautiful trees, as well as old stone walls to capture our vintage theme. She also snapped what she could see was important to us: our flower girls, dogs, cars, friends and family. Meg also made us laugh to get our 'couple' shots which could have otherwise been extremely awkward with a camera shy husband! I can't thank Meg enough for the beautiful and amazing images we have to remember our day. The photos are so stunning that we were selected out of hundreds of weddings to feature in The Bride's Diary magazine. Thank you Meg for capturing our day so perfectly! We can't wait to use you again for more special times in our lives in the future!

Wedding Photography

Rosemount Cellar Door was exactly the atmosphere we were looking for in a wedding venue: relaxed, rustic and ambient. Even though we had a cocktail wedding, Rosemount staff set up different areas to cater for our range of young and old guests, including seating, tables, a dance floor, and an outdoor area overlooking the vineyards. We used the fairy lights which were already in the main hall to reduce costs in lighting, and we were able to set up vintage doiley bunting, vases and candles the day before the wedding. The caterers were happy with the space that they had to prepare our food, and our guests were very happy with the wines and to dance the night away well after we left!

My husband and I searched everywhere for an antique Exchange Jeweller engagement and wedding ring, but when we saw the vintage inspired range at Michael Hill we couldnt go past the set of three, perfectly matching rings for engagement, wedding and eternity. We bought all three at the same time and my husband hid them until 'the time was right'. The diamonds are ethical and of beautiful quality, and the service has been excellent. The Lifetime Care Plan means I can have them resized, cleaned and re-rhodium plated at no extra cost and diamonds will be replaced if they accidently fall out which is amazing piece of mind. After 2 years of being married, I still get complements all the time about my rings. I just love them! :)
