No words can express how forever grateful we are to you Marilyn for being the remarkable person you are. We would recommend Marilyn without any hesitation if you are looking for a celebrant who goes that extra mile to make your day memorable. After 39 happy years as a couple we set out to incorporate a surprise wedding while holidaying on the Gold Coast with our family from New Zealand. With the good fortune of finding Marry Me Marilyn website, we were in turn blessed with such a personalised, memorable ceremony all due in no small part to Marilyn’s capability to understand what we wanted in one visit to meet her. We left that appointment with relief as we had found the most competent and integral part of our wedding day. As we are sure every bride and groom before us knows you only have to meet Marilyn in person to feel her energy, enthusiasm and heartfelt connection that she makes with you. Within days Marilyn had the first draft out for the ceremony. With emails bouncing back and forward over the Tasman, Marilyn guided us, gave us suggestions and an enjoyable journey to end up with a service which meant the world to us. Marilyn took over all the legal side before and after, including lodging and applying for the registered copy of our Marriage certificate at QLD BDM, which has saved us time and was a massive load taken off us with not being Australian residents. We made very few alterations to that first draft of our ceremony, which only confirms how much Marilyn listened and connected with us resulting in a ceremony which reflected the true spirit of Peter and I.
