My wife and I got married at Taxi in October 2024. The venue was stunning with views of the city and the Yarra at sunset, a great atmosphere next to Fed Square, and beautiful lighting and decor. We had guests come from across Melbourne and all appreciated the convenient location next to Flinders St station. The venue was perfect for around 110 guests with plenty of room and an intimate feel at the same time. The events manager was incredible - always responsive and super organised, which was especially appreciated given our previous venue closed down unexpectedly. The food was superb and universally enjoyed by the guests, several of whom also noted how generous the portions were for a gourmet meal. The service was excellent for both food and drink, and the restaurant manager conducted the event flawlessly. We couldn't have been happier with this venue for our wedding and would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a venue in the city!

Wedding Venues

We hired Margaret for our wedding in October 2024. We had around 110 guests at a smaller venue. Margaret met with us twice at no extra charge in the lead-up to the wedding and was very professional and approachable. Margaret also insisted on a rehearsal, again at no extra charge, which was really helpful for demystifying the day and for making final preparations for the ceremony. Margaret hosted a beautiful and seamless ceremony including touching words on the joy and significance of marriage, as well as a personalised telling of our story as a couple which was very special. We're truly grateful to Margaret for giving us such a beautiful ceremony and being so generous and warm to us throughout the process!
