Absolutely everything about our wedding at the Convent was outstanding and lived up to all of our expectations. The staff were brilliant, in particular Xanthia and Teneal stood out as being particularly attentive and interactive with our guests and all around warm and lovely people. Our guests continually commented about the wonderful food and service. It is a very distinctive and unique venue. Our favourite wedding photos were taken in the grounds and upstairs in the infirmary. The grounds are spectacular and even on May 27th there was still beautiful autumnal colours to make it that little bit extra special. We chose the smaller of the options for our reception, the St Lawrence Atrium, which was a perfect size for our numbers (about 55) and gave it a nice intimate feel but was still enough room for a decent size dance floor and 4-piece band. Amy and her family put a lot of effort into decorating the room but it looked truly stunning! We stayed in the Penthouse which is so handy being on the same site and available throughout the day. Overall it was honestly the best day of our lives and we are so glad we chose the Convent!

Robert really impressed with examples of his work but it was meeting up with him that really convinced us he the right choice for us; he was easy-going, friendly, engaging and shows such passion for his work and a keen interest in people. It was an absolute pleasure to have Robert capture our day and the end result was an incredible array of photos and a wedding album that we will truly treasure for the rest of our lives. My wife couldn't have been happier with the photos

My wife and I were debating whether or not to fork out for a videographer and made a last minute decision to go ahead with video boutique. Best decision ever! The result speaks for itself and truly captures the day for us and the emotions that went by so quickly at the time. Several months down the track and I'm still walking in on Amy watching the video! It is also great to have all of the speeches and ceremony recorded in full to share with each other forever. Shaz provided our wedding cake in May. It was such a simple process meeting up for a tasting (which sold us pretty much immediately!) and Shaz really took it from there arranging the delivery etc with our venue in Daylesford with very little more input on our part. As it turns out the cake was a little too good, there was heaps of food including 3 roaming desserts yet the entire bottom tier was eaten on the night and we only had 55 guests! So much for all of the cake boxes we had purchased!
