Good food but poor service on the day and atrocious response to customer feedback. We hired Fennel & Co to cater our wedding of approximately 100 guests in January 2023. One huge positive is that their food is excellent! However, the service on the day was well below standard, including forgetting to cut and plate our cake, failing to put wine on tables during dinner and not delivering on our original agreement and agreed run sheet. The subsequent handling of our feedback about this was among the worst customer service we have ever experienced. This included failing to respond to our feedback and subsequent communication with them unless we chased them, providing inaccurate and contradictory responses to the issues we raised and becoming defensive when this was highlighted. Overall, we do not think that Fennel conducted themselves in a way that matches their good reputation in the industry.
