We cannot thank Leigh enough for our wedding cake. It was absolute perfection! We couldn't find anyone in Cairns or the Tablelands that offered cake taste tasting, however Leigh spent an hour with us discussing our wedding cake desires and offered a delicious tasting box of different flavored cupcakes at no extra costs! The entire process was a 10/10. Not only did the tiered design match our romantic wedding theme and shimmer under the reception lights, but the buttercream was out of this world. Mmmm best buttercream ever! Our wedding guests devoured the wedding cupcakes fast and there were no leftovers, although we did keep one slice of cake for our first year wedding anniversary. We highly recommend Loveleighs Cakery for anyone seeking a professionally made wedding cake.

Beautiful range of infinity gowns and they felt as luxuriously soft and silky as what they looked in the photos. The colour was exactly what I was looking for, a pretty blush pink for my bridesmaids. The gowns complemented all of my bridesmaids figures and felt light and comfy to wear all day and night. The package also came with a pamphlet with style demonstrations, which was definitely helpful. Very simple and secure payment and exceptionally fast delivery within 1 week.

We travelled from Cairns to find a decent suit hire company for our Grooms Men. From the moment my Husband and I walked in, the service was fantastic and we were impressed by the variety of quality suits. Manager Ron greeted us with old school customer service, was very efficient and a pleasure to deal with from day one. He is a true expert, asked all the right questions and provided relevant suggestions on styles, colours and accessories to match with my wedding dress and bridesmaids. We ended up hiring 4 x 3 piece suits and ties, purchasing belts and getting all the suits altered for less than half the cost, than if we had of purchased, so it was certainly worth the trip. We highly recommend New Park Suit Hire and Menswear for any Groom seeking a great suit, expert knowledge and tailored alterations for their wedding day.

We were in urgent in need of wedding table decor and rose petals and Tracy and her team were extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. They helped my Husband and I at very short notice by completing and delivering last-minute floral arrangements without any trouble and were fairly priced. Beautiful flowers that gave us the perfect finishing touch we were looking for at our wedding. We highly recommend Rainflowers Florist for anyone seeking a great Florist for their wedding.

We are being generous with our 2 stars rating. We hired Salty Frogz Wedding photography due to 5 star reviews we had seen online. From our first conversation with Etienne, we thought were in good hands as he was patient in answering all of our questions and he confirmed he would travel to us in FNQ to be our wedding photographer. However 1 week prior to our wedding we were informed that he was subcontracting a local photographer and Etienne would only be editing our photos. Having already paid our deposit and having limited time to find another wedding photographer, we were very disappointed. We ended up having a photographer we never got to speak with prior to the wedding and the photos were not professional wedding quality, like what we had seen on Salty Frogz website. We were given misleading information and the communication was inconsistent and poor. Their package promises 1000-3000 edited wedding photos, but we ended up with 700 subpar pictures. Unprofessional and we would advise to avoid.

Janine Meakin was our lovely marriage celebrant and she was highly professional, organized, and wonderful to work with. Janine met with us at our home to provide an initial consultation where we discussed our wedding ceremony plans. She made the legal work and planning seamless and easy to understand. We were given a booklet with some helpful ideas for our ceremony and Janine also offered to do a rehearsal with us, so we would feel comfortable and prepared on our wedding day. During the ceremony we were both super nervous, however Janine's calming energy and personally tailored delivery made us feel at ease. We highly recommend NQ Celebrations to anyone seeking a professional and personalised wedding celebrant. Thank you for being part of a ceremony we will cherish forever.

Marriage Celebrants

We had an absolute dream wedding at Tinaroo Lake Resort on 8/8/26 and it was the easiest and best decision we made during the entire planning process. From our very first meet and greet with Venue Manager Kylie she went above and beyond to make us feel 100% happy. Throughout the year during the planning process, Kylie answered every question and anticipated details we hadn't even thought of so that on our wedding day, we felt relaxed. Kylie was well organised, making sure everything ran on time and took care of us like family, including driving some of us by golf buggy to and from the ceremony. We had a total of 80 guests and everyone said how much they loved the lake front ceremony and the lodge reception venue. The lake front and reception lodge were gorgeous, clean, spacious and provided the most stunning backdrop for our photos. We had 4 banquets to select from and an option with or without entree or dessert. The food was well presented and delicious however we do agree with our guests that the main course could have been larger and hotter serves. Accommodation at our venue was exclusively booked for our wedding guests to stay for 3 nights, providing an extra personalised touch to our special day. We are forever grateful to Kylie and her team for making our day unforgettable and would highly recommend Tinaroo Lake Resort to anyone seeking the perfect wedding venue in FNQ.
