We couldn't have been happier with the service provided by the Lala team in Leederville. They seemed genuinely delighted to see us whenever we visited the store and they were very patient in explaining all of the options. Anna designed a beautiful hand-drawn logo that became a motif for all of our stationery and an inspiration for the decorations too. They also generously gave us permission to use the motif on a custom wooden guestbook. The stationery was always delivered on-time and impeccably presented.

We had our wedding lunch reception at The Loft (the function room above Oliver's on James st, Northbridge) and we were absolutely thrilled with it. The food was plentiful, varied, well-presented and delicious. A highlight for our 70 guests was the opportunity to pre-order a main from a choice of eight. Everybody is still raving about the incredible food, the exceptional service and the elegant decor of the room. A bonus was that all this came at a fair and reasonable cost. Since our ceremony was at the Greek Orthodox Church in Northbridge, it only took guests a few minutes to walk around the corner to Oliver's. Some came by public transport so it really couldn't have been more convenient. In the lead-up to the wedding, Sarah - the Functions Coordinator - made the process of planning our event completely stress-free. She was very friendly and professional at all times and nothing was ever too difficult for her. She really went out of her way to make sure we had the perfect celebration. We can't fault Sarah and her team at The Loft and we are so pleased that we chose it for our wedding reception! We recommend it on the strongest of terms.

I can't fault the service of the drivers at Belle Limousines, as the two that we had on the day were very friendly and accommodating. They were, of course, punctual, and the presentation of the cars was a point of pride. The town car was more comfortable than the classic car (modern air con etc.) but that is to be expected given its vintage. I felt like royalty riding in the car and it was a good once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I think that the car will look very nice in the photos as well.

It was such a joy to look around the Kezani shop in West Leederville and to try on different headpieces. The owner put my hair up so that I could get a good idea of what each one might look like on the day. I was very happy with the piece that I chose in the end, as it was somewhat customised and looked very special.

I'm really pleased that we went with this online gift registry. It was easy to set up a registry and I always received prompt replies to any enquiries. They were able to add gifts that weren't in their database without any hassle. A small disappointment was that some gifts were discontinued so we had to swap them out for something else. It's great that the gifts will be delivered to our door at a time that suits us rather than filling up our small reception venue.
