What can I say.... Penny's cake was totally unbelievable and exactly what we wanted. It was simple, elegant, modern and most importantly DELICIOUS. We chose a round three tier cake with a smiple ribbon and some fondant shells (we were married near the beach) and it was perfect. Guests enjoyed jaffa and cherry ripe mud cake layers and we will enjoy the choclate layer for our first anniversary in January.

The reception food was out of this world. We had so many great comments from our guests about 'how it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted' and I must admit it made me relax a little when I heard the noise of smacking lips and saw so many empty plates. Many of our guests even returned to the restaurant the evening after the wedding to enjoy the food again!! We started with canapes on the deck, followed by alternate entrees (blue cheese & walnut spring roll or mediterranean prawn salad) and alternate mains (chicken breast with polenta and seasonal greens or eye fillet with potato gratin and broccollini).

Robyn was fantastic to deal with, she held our hands and walked us through each step of the process.... and did the majority of this over the phone! My husband and I live in Bundaberg, QLD however had decided to get married in Port Stephens, NSW as we are both originally from Sydney and love the area. We officially met Robyn face to face at the rehearsal (the afternoon before the wedding) and she was everything we had hoped for - organised, professional and friendly. She knew how to put us at ease and ran through the rehearsal at no extra cost.

Our photographer Theresa from Arrow Photography was absolutely amazing. We arranged everything over the phone (as we were from interstate) and only met her on the day of the wedding. She was professional, friendly and took the most unbelieveable photos I have ever seen. Her eye for detail and opportunity led us to jump a fence in the carpark of our ceremony venue to have the most beautiful photos taken amongst the trees. My husband and I generally hate photos of ourselves , however, have taken to rotating the photos in the house regularly so we get to see them all!!! I cannot recommend Theresa enough............book her - you will never regret it!

We had our reception at catch restaurant - beautiful decor, food, service and breathtaking view. Most guests stayed at the resort and enjoyed the experience, however the 2 night minimum stay during holiday periods meant that guests flying in for the night had to find alternate accomodation.

My husband and I bought our wedding bands from Michael Hill in Bundaberg. Johanna was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to deliver a product that suited our budget and our personalities - all in all this was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend.
