I first went to the Q station as a young girl for a ghost tour. When we were looking for venues I was pleased to discover it also did weddings. The bush and ocean setting is spectacular, and the ballroom a lovely rustic, old-world heritage with a relaxed feel. The staff were extremely helpful and lovely.

Janet was the perfect celebrant – professional but warm and relaxed, with a great sense of humour. Upon first speaking with her we immediately felt at ease and she helped us create a light-hearted but meaningful ceremony. She was a wonderful guide on the day. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

We ordered their orange cake with persian figs. Our guests demolished it! It was delicious and very popular. The garnish of dried Persian figs, cranberries, pistachios, rose petals and candied coriander was a lovely touch. We got a single layer and that was more than sufficient.

We not only had our reception here but we, family and friends stayed at the cottages and rooms at the location. Magnificent views, lovely and helpful staff and clean and comfortable accommodation.
