Our wedding cake was beautiful to look at and delicious tasting. Oakleigh Cakes did such a wonderful job recreating my cake from pictures I gave them. It turned out perfectly. Oakleigh Cakes were really lovely to deal with and very helpful providing advice about the size of the cake for the wedding party and what would and wouldn't work with decorating the cake. They were also less expensive than a number of other cake suppliers and they delivered the cake to our reception venue. We highly recommend them.

We live overseas and had to select a celebrant without meeting them until just before the wedding. Trevor was responsive from our initial enquiry and always replied promptly to our emails. He took care of all of the legal/administrative details to ensure our marriage went smoothly on the day. Most importantly, we loved our ceremony, which was tailored to us - Trevor struck the right balance between conveying the solemnity of the occasion without it being too mushy (which is not our style). So many of our friends have commented on how lovely the ceremony was.

Nicole at Allure Stationery was so helpful and lovely to deal with. She was responsive - one of the few who bothered to reply to my initial email requesting a quote. She helped me design a bespoke invitation that was simple but elegant and she was really accommodating as I did change a couple of the details before settling on the final design. The invitations were high quality and Nicole delivered them on time. I would highly recommend her.

Craig Francis Music provided the music and MC services for our wedding, including arranging the string quartet for the ceremony. We selected the 4-piece band composition for the reception and they were awesome. Craig was so helpful and easy to deal with in the lead up to the wedding. He was responsive to emails and made good suggestions. We gave limited direction but the band played a good mix of music that catered to the all of the guests and had our entire wedding party up dancing all night. The band looked and sounded great and were extremely professional. All of the band members were really friendly and it was like having more of our friends at the wedding even though we'd only met that day. We would highly recommend this band. If you are looking for live music for your wedding - look no further and send Craig and email!

We had a small wedding and wanted to have a few nice photos to remember the day - we didn't want a big photo production and to spend hours in between the ceremony and the reception taking photos. SMC Studios were really responsive and helpful from our initial enquiry. Richard was our photographer on the day and he was great - professional but friendly and patient with the groom who kept wandering off! We are still waiting to see our photos, however, the delay is probably because we live overseas and the post takes a while to reach us rather than any delay on SMC's part. So we haven't seen our photos yet!

We had our ceremony at Melbourne Town Hall - in the Balcony and Portico Room. We had 50 guests and it was just the right size for this number of people. We also had access to several other rooms in Town Hall for photographs after the wedding. Nicole, our Wedding Coordinator, was amazing - efficient, helpful and just lovely to deal with. The staff provided on the day were also very friendly and very experienced and professional. All of our guests loved the wedding venue. Because our ceremony was outside on the balcony, you could hear a couple of trams go by below but everyone thought this was iconic of Melbourne - it was not a problem for us. We would highly recommend Town Hall for a wedding ceremony.

We had our wedding reception at Vue de Monde in the Lady Nelson and Darwin rooms and it was amazing! The food was spectacular, as you would imagine. The canapes during pre-dinner drink service were amazing. We had the 5-course degustation dinner and every plate was perfect. We felt 5 courses was just right. It was a definitely a filling meal for everyone. The venue was spectacular and sophisticated with a superb view of Melbourne and just what we wanted for our wedding party. And the staff were so professional and friendly. They were attentive to us and our guests and looked after us so well throughout the entire evening. We would highly recommend Vue de Monde for a wedding - it was perfect.

We hired the groom's and father of the bride's suits for our wedding. Leigh and Annabel at Formal Wear Of Melbourne in Ashburton were extremely helpful and professional. The groom and father of the bride arrived in Melbourne only two day before the wedding. We took them into the store that morning and had the suits within a couple of hours. The suits were high quality made from good quality fabrics, and were tailored to fit. We had no idea it would be so easy to get the suits - the groom was pleased he only had to spend about 15 minutes in the store! We would highly recommend Formal Wear Of Melbourne.

We hired a chauffer-driven Mercedes for our wedding. The driver was on time and professional and the car was in good condition. The company was easy to deal with and we would recommend Star Chauffeured Cars Australia.
