Laid-back luxury for Sophie and Tim’s wedding at The Woods Farm

One gelato bike, a few barnyard animals, and 94 treasured guests made for an elegant celebration at The Woods Farm for Sophie and Tim.

When Sophie and Tim reached out to Easy Weddings’ team of expert wedding planning specialists, they knew they wanted a celebration that felt uniquely them.

After originally meeting at primary school, Sophie and Tim finally crossed paths again as adults on a night out at the local club. “Tim proposed to me at Newport beach with a gorgeous picnic set up,” explains Sophie. “It was perfect!”

The couple wanted a venue where all of their family and friends could stay onsite, making the wedding a weekend-long celebration. Our Easy Weddings planning specialists knew that the stunning greenery and onsite accomodation at The Woods Farm fit the bill perfectly.

The weekend kicked off with a welcome dinner held in the veggie patch, and concluded with a relaxed recovery breakfast in the pool pergola.

For her wedding day, Sophie chose an elegant low-backed gown at Brides Of Sydney. The design was the perfect harmony of classic and contemporary, with romantic lace throughout and modern mesh panels. Sophie’s bridesmaids also wore Brides Of Sydney dresses in forest green to match the leafy surrounds.

The ceremony took place in The Woods Farm’s bush chapel beneath rustic timber beams and ornate chandeliers. Seyda Kurtman of Married by Seyda officiated. “Seyda’s approach was so natural and fitted us perfectly,” says Sophie.

After vows were exchanged and many an enthusiastic congratulations was given, Sophie and Tim slipped away with Neaton Photography for golden hour portraiture. As the pair said hello to some of the farm’s furry residents, guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails while awaiting the return of the happy couple.

The Wed Shed set the scene for a joyous wedding reception with a gelato bike, a delicious feast, and  Baker Boys Band, who brought their signature tunes and good vibes.

The stress of finding vendors disappeared when we came across Easy Weddings! It would be impossible for us to choose a favourite vendor as ALL of them were incredible, both in the lead up and on the day.
