A tour of some of Sydney’s most beautiful offerings was part of Joanne Stark and Joel Latham’s glamorous wedding.
The Kellyville couple married on October 3, 2015 with 130 guests, beginning in their family homes. “We weaved around beautiful spots in Sydney, from my beautiful rural home in Kenthurst to an old sandstone church in Hunters Hill where we said our vows,” describes the bride, 26 of her wedding to Joel, also 26. “It ended at Doltone House with what has to be one of the most spectacular views in Australia.”
Rewind seven years to the couple’s less romantic meeting in a Kings Cross nightclub. “It was definitely not the most glamorous love story but it was our own,” smiles Joanne. “From the moment we met, we know it was different, that this encounter was meant to be.”
The laid-back pair kept their wedding simple but elegant, with a traditional feel. “We made it about what was the most important part which is committing to each other for life in front of the most important people in our lives,” says Joanne.
They honeymooned in Hawaii, Vegas and Los Angeles.

Wendy Makin Bridal Studio created the brides glam gown.
Joanne wore a statement neckpiece from Millielcaro with her strapless gown.
“As the sun set, and the dance floor got started, no song was more appropriate than our selected track “Good Life” by Kanye,” says Joanne.
