After scouring South Australia for a spot to hold their vintage wedding, Sarah Pitt and Joshua Clothier found the perfect place. But life had other plans.
“We discovered we would be expecting a baby girl just weeks before our proposed wedding day,” Sarah, 29, explains.
Luckily for her and Josh, 28, their dream venue, Glen Ewin Estate at Houghton, was happy to reschedule.
After welcoming their daughter, the Williamstown couple wed on October 24, 2014, in front of 100 family and friends.
The garden ceremony was complete with a dove release and giant outdoor lawn games kept guests entertained.
Grand Glen Ewin Estate also held the reception, where a unique two-tier ruffle cake and drool-worthy lolly bar took pride of place.
“Our wedding day went off without a hitch, the most perfect day with all our family friends and our beautiful baby girl,” Sarah says.

Sarah and Josh first locked eyes on the dancefloor at their local pub before Josh proposed on an evening Valentine’s Day picnic about three years later.
“We make each other laugh every day and through thick and thin we know we have each other’s back,” Sarah says of their relationship.
Sarah has some simple advice for future brides planning their big day. “Don’t panic about how the day will unfold, just enjoy every second,” she says.
