Good suppliers are key in creating a wedding to remember, so Lauren Fraser and Joel Reed chose wisely.
“Although it was our day, it was especially important to us that everyone had a great time, which guided each of our decisions regarding suppliers, timing of events and ensuring we had a relaxed atmosphere,” explains Lauren, 26, or her Melbourne bayside wedding with Joel, 31.
The pair, who married on November 5, 2016 in the presence of 98 guests, were grateful to have selected Wendy McRae as their celebrant. She married the pair at George Pentland Botanic Gardens in Frankston, Victoria. “Wendy was very passionate, warm and professional, which was exactly what we wanted in a celebrant,” smiles Lauren. “Our ceremony was very personal, which made it even more special.”
Another decision the duo “did not take lightly” was choosing their photographer, Iain and Jo of We Tell Love Stories. “Iain and Jo were very extremely talented, passionate and very approachable, making us feel at ease in front of the camera and enabling us to get the natural photos we wanted,” explains Lauren.
In addition to their reception choice of Windows on the Bay, great entertainment and a quality make-up artist, their day ran smoothly. “We enjoyed reliving what was the best night of our lives after receiving countless compliments and funny stories in the months to follow,” says the bride.
