Better together: Jenna and Riley celebrate elegant wedding on stormy afternoon

Bride Jenna read somewhere that when planning a wedding, you should choose three priorities to focus on.

“We love good food and wine, so choosing a venue with exceptional wining and dining was number one,” the 25-year-old explains of her wedding with beau Riley, 26. “Next, the photography and videography — I am the sentimental type.” Finally, the couple chose a great band: Luke Dewing Music. “Our big Italian family love the dance floor, so having a band with incredible talent was our priority too.”

They married at their elegant wedding on November 2, 2018 with a ceremony at St Patrick’s Church and reception at Lindenwarrah at Milawa. Their wedding was originally to have a rustic theme, but as planning commenced Jenna and Riley were drawn to more modern elements. “We had lots of greenery on the tables and quirky features like our neon sign that read ‘Better Together’.”

Jenna and Riley actually fell in love in high school.

“2018 was a beautiful year, but when we found out that Mum had a brain tumour, our wedding became the goal of the year — to get mum there,” recalls Jenna. “She was there, healthy, and our wedding day became the day we celebrated life.”

“He’s got a ripper smile,” Jenna says of her groom.
