It was love at first sight when Amy and Daz crossed paths outside a cafe. The pair wed at Pioneer Country on May 6, 2023, in a bohemian celebration for 148 guests.
We wanted a relaxed, fun vibe… Oh, and to get that party started!” remembers Amy. “Pioneer Country was perfect for this; it was an amazing fit for our day.”
Dressed in a lace two-piece gown, Amy walked down the aisle to the sound of loved ones singing Bon Jovi. The pair were wed by their best friend, who rocked a leopard print suit for the occasion. “It was rock and roll — the perfect ceremony!” says Amy. After the ceremony, Amy and Daz joined their guests for margaritas on the veranda with live music to get the party going.
A Mexican-inspired buffet kept guests full while the Baker Boys Band and DJ filled the dancefloor. The feast was catered by the culinary team at Pioneer Country who created a custom dining experience. “We chatted through the menu with the chef via Zoom,” says Amy. “He helped come up with ideas for the night. He said he had never done a wedding menu like this before and was very excited about it!”
Amy changed into a gold sequinned mini dress complete with a short veil for the party portion of the reception. “The reception was exactly the vibe we wanted — not too posh or perfect. We always wanted the ambience to be rustic and chilled.” In keeping with the rock ‘n’ roll theme of the day, guests cheered as Amy and Daz took to the floor for a choreographed first dance to Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer.
If we could only reccommend one venue to other couples, it would be our fabulous venue, Pioneer Country. The team were just incredible. They created the perfect day for us, from ceremony to reception. We cannot fault them!
