A long engagement leads to Jayde and Adam’s rustic seaside wedding

Jayde and Adam were introduced by mutual friends and began a relationship that spanned thirteen years before finally tying the knot.

"Adam proposed to me after six-and-a-half years in front of family and friends and I was totally shocked and surprised as I was not expecting it," laughs Jayde, 32.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at Mantra Lorne on March 16, 2019, and witnessed by 80 of the couple's closest friends and family. "We could not have asked for a better day, from the weather being a perfect 27-degrees, having our closest friends and family sharing the love and having our beautiful daughter Marlee as a flower girl...it was magical," smiles the bride.

Jayde and Adam, 33, decided on the venue as they love Lorne and being close to the sea allowed them to take photos with the beach as a backdrop.

The bride looked to real weddings for inspiration for her own wedding. "I love seeing all the past weddings and found Easy Weddings very helpful when planning my own dream wedding!" recalls Jayde.
