Three months after their sweet Caversham House wedding in WA’s Swan Valley, Jasmin and Chris received a belated wedding gift from Easy Weddings — in the way of $2,500 cash.
Jasmin and Chris of Western Australia are the latest winners in our Wedding Cash Giveaway, the quarterly prize draw where one lucky couple wins $2,500 just for planning their wedding.
The couple’s November 13, 2022 wedding was celebrated with 85 close and extended family members and came together with the services of three key wedding vendors that they booked through Easy Weddings.
Lesley Meinema of Journeys of Love was the celebrant who officiated the day.
Sandra and Cate of Lull Floral & Events created what Jasmin describes as “insane” flower arrangements.
Caversham House was the modern romantic setting at which they exchanged vows and celebrated their reception along with their 17-month-old son and a wedding party of nine.
“Getting married was a surreal experience,” recalls Jasmin. “The food at Caversham was amazing.”
“Our baby slept for two and a half hours during the reception, and after that, he was up dancing, which everyone loved.
“Getting into the limo with Chris at the end of the night, where you and your husband get to be alone together for the first time — that was another surreal feeling.”
Jasmin relied on the Easy Weddings app to get her through their wedding plans, commenting that the tools, including the comprehensive to-do list, were really helpful. “It prompted you to think of things you’d never think of,” she says. “I found it so easy to use.”
So what will the newlyweds, who are expecting yet again thanks to their Pullman Bunker Bay honeymoon, spend their cash gift on?
“Chris said, it’s perfect because the rates are due,” laughs Jasmin, “but this is so helpful for all the baby things we need to buy.”
