Embracing Vintage Romantic as a wedding aesthetic transports you to a time when love letters were penned by candlelight and courtships were the subject of poetic musings.

Vintage Romantic

Imagine your wedding day infused with the warmth of soft candlelight, the charm of lace and linen and bouquets of wildflowers seemingly gathered from the fields that morning.

This aesthetic is a homage to the timeless elegance of bygone eras, where every detail, from the hand-written vows to the choice of an heirloom gown, is a nod to the past. The setting, perhaps an old-world villa, heritage building or garden in full bloom, becomes a backdrop for a celebration that feels both profoundly intimate and beautifully out of time.

"It’s important to ask your photographer about their vision beforehand, and to be on the same page around style and edit expectations. I would study the Photographer’s portfolio extensively to make sure it is in line with the vibe that you are trying to achieve with your gallery of images. I myself was taught on Film cameras, so I love the vintage film feel within my photographs. Personally, I curate every image myself and do not use any AI tools to achieve a certain look, and I guess this is another question to ask you Photographer. I want my clients to have I connection with me from the start to finish of the Wedding to delivery of their images knowing it is all about the vision, light, bespoke offering and connection of the couple that makes the photographs timeless and romantic.” Mel from Melanie Panteli Photography

"Enhance the vintage aesthetic of your accessories by incorporating pearls, lace, or florals into the design. Each element adds a touch of romance and nostalgia, perfect for achieving a classic and timeless look." Michelle from Michelle Pagonis.

"A venue with a lot of character and charm is perfect for your Vintage Romantic inspired wedding. You can easily create the desired look with candles. My favourite combination is pillar candles in a mixed variety of height for ultimate impact! Less mess too as opposed to candlesticks :slightly_smiling_face: I highly recommend using soft pastel colours, and materials to soften your table arrangements, with some simple yet effective fresh flowers to finish the look." Darcy from Easy Weddings.
