Legally Blonde: Ryan Phillippe engaged to Stanford law student

American actor Ryan Phillippe has proposed to his long-time love, Stanford law student Paulina Slagter over the Christmas holidays.

According to E! News Ryan, 41, and Paulina, 25, were seen enjoying lunch in Miami over the weekend and Paulina was reportedly not shy about showing off her new engagement ring.

The couple, who have been together for four years, are currently holidaying in Miami and are yet to confirm their engagement officially.

It is unclear where Ryan, the star of such hits as TV show Damages and movies including I Know What you Did Last Summer, met Paulina, but we do know that she’s a former model and actress who also lives in Los Angeles – and that she’s smart as a whip!

This will be Ryan’s second marriage. He was previously married to Legally Blonde actress Reese Witherspoon for eight years, and they had two children together, 16-year-old Ava and 12-year-old Deacon. Ryan has a third child, four-year-old Kai, with model and actress Alexis Knapp.

This will be Paulina’s first marriage.
