There a loads of different moods and styles that we can use to make your video stand out and make it as memorable as it can be. Often, we'll get our clients to show us an example of what you like, or discuss with us your expectations.

We offer fulllength and highlights in our packages. A highlights video is a short music video (one song length) that encapsulates the whole day. Our full length wedding films include full ceremony coverage with multiple cameras, and full speeches coverage. The full length video includes most of your day, and usually runs for approx 1 hour, depending on the formalities of the day.

We have packages you can check out at radiantweddingfilms.com.au

There's no clear-cut answer to this (and to be honest, if anybody tries to tell you that there is, then, well!).  Stylistically, every Director and Cinematography will have different refrains or consistencies.  We like to use slides a lot in our work, for example, because we like that range of movement.  We've seen other Wedding Films that use a lot of slow-motion - every Director will have things they like to do and you'll see this in their work.

But here's the thing: you're the client!  You're the real Director, here.  If there's something your chosen Cinematographer is doing that you like, tell them!  But if there's something you want them to do- tell them!

Our favourite Weddings are the ones where the personality of the couple comes through, and they come through in different ways.  We've seen this personality come through during speeches, we've seen it come through the song choices, and we've seen this personality come through in all sorts of different ways.

Just remember that this film - like this Wedding - is your film.  Ask your Cinematographer for whatever you want - the sky's the limit - and they'll work with you to realise the vision of your film, and your style.

That's the best thing about a wedding film. You can do any style you want. You can have a formal video or an upbeat kind of video. The possibilities are endless. If you have no idea what you want I recommend having a look on youtube or Vimeo. just type in wedding videos and have a look at other peoples work. Brain storm a bit or just picks and choose different parts you want it to look like. Give examples to your videographer I'm sure they can help you out.

There is a various of styles and types of wedding Videography. Hoping that the videographer can cater to the clients needs all the time.

One that is common today is RUSTIC and CINEMATIC. Rustic is more natural vibes, reactions and movements of the couple where Cinematic it involves a little bit of direction with the couple and more stable and firm footage. I hope this helps :)

Of course people have their own unique style or flair that you either like or not like but there are typically two main styles being Documentary or Cinematic. In deed we use a hybrid of both so therefore cinematic highlights and documentary for the formalities. Hope that helps :)

Videography can take many different styles and forms such as:

Journalistic - Where the Videographer captures the events of the day as they happen, and usually edit them in a linear fashion. This style is one of the most common of wedding videography as it shows the events and story of the wedding day in chronological order.

Cinematic - This style emphasizes emotion and drama of the day, to create a movie like experience where the bride and groom are the stars. The camera movement will often be enhanced by the use of slow motion, montages, music and even the videographer(s) setting up shots and directing the bride and groom to achieve certain key moments. Edits usually are colour graded and enhanced to give a film like feel. Cinematic Videos tend to last from 30 to 90 minutes long.

Short Form - One of the most popular styles of recent years. This highly edited version of wedding videography usually last anywhere from 2 to 50 minutes long and lends itself to the journalistic and cinematic styles for editing. There usually isn't time to include the ceremony and speeches in full, unlike the journalistic style.

Traditional - This videography style is becoming less popular over time due to the length of the videos edited. This style is the kind of video you would expect if you were to ask a friend to film your wedding for you, although with much better camerawork. Filmed from start to finish with minimal editing, these videos and edits tend to last often from 2 to 3 hours. If you are after a more modern approach to style. Perhaps choose one of the other options as this style is not offered by a lot of videographers anymore. Those who do, will charge extra for the time taken to provide the extra edited materials.

Marryoke - This style is popular and hilarious. This is where the couple, the wedding party, or even anyone attending the wedding, band together to create a video of the day to a popular or appropriate song, filmed throughout the day, then edited into a music video. This style however can be tedious and take multiple tries to film across the day. It also involves by far the most direction and input from the videographer(s) so communication is a must. If you're looking to film the day as it happened. Perhaps this isn't the style for you.

1) Videography style is simply capturing the day and putting all the important parts together. The highlights video is generally put to music and is edited in a chronological fashion, from beginning of the day to the end. Sometimes snippets of speeches are used to fill in the highlights and tell a bit of a story. highlights are generally 2-10min long.

2) Cinematography style is capturing the day and then creating a feature film that is a visual story of the day. Editing doesn't follow a chronological sequence of events. Cinematography style is often more expensive due to the extra time required for editing and at the end you could have a feature film of the day between 15-40 min long.

Some videographers also offer same day edits. That is they capture your day and then have a video ready to show at your reception. This can be a powerful experience if you have the budget and would like everyone to share in your video experience.
