Our costings are simple: We charge per hour we spend on your wedding day. This fee is all-inclusive and covers the filming and post production editing of your highlights film. Current prices are available on our website (Westwardfilms)

Videography suppliers work on a very similar time schedule as photographers. Typically you should be safe 1 year out from your wedding. If you leave it up to the last 3-4 months you will find that the prime suppliers are likely booked out already.

i want to post my wedding video online but facebook doesnt let me due to the music copyright
is it part of videographers contract that says they'll be using music that isn't rightfully theirs? I want to post my video for my family and friends to see and it's basically useless otherwise!

The licence for songs that are used for wedding film highlights need to purchased by your videography provider. If a song is used for which a licence is not available then technically there is a breach of copyright law. You can contact your provider and request for a licence. If a licence is not available for your song then it should not have been used in the first place by your videographer.
Why should I get a videographer if I'm already having a photographer?
I'm on the fence about videography and need that extra push. Can you tell me why I should have both a photographer and a videographer at my wedding?

Traditionally the only means of covering a wedding was with photography and it is usually for this reason that video coverage is still considered an add-on. Also, the videos that were produced by professionals in the 80's and 90's were, by current standards, very poor.
In the last decade, there have been enormous developments in cameras and editing techniques which means wedding videography is now visually as stunning as photography. Important from a budget perspective; wedding films are now created at the same price as photography packages.
And this is why you should consider videography: For the same cost as your photographer, you will be able to relive your day in much more detail where laughs are seen and heard, tears of joy can be seen rolling down the cheek of your fiancee and the breathtaking backdrop of your ceremony location comes to live with panoramic aerial shots.
But most important, the things that photos don't capture, are the words spoken on your day. The tremble in your voice during your vows and the excitement of the audience when you're announced as husband and wife.
