who cleans up the venue after the wedding?

Our professional staff will ensure the venue is immaculate for your wedding day and will take care of all cleaning post-wedding. A cleaning surcharge may apply should there be excessive cleaning required.

We take care of cleaning up and packing down the function centre.  If there is excessive cleaning required we may charge an excess.

Witchmount Estate clean up after the function with family & guests taking any floral arrangements etc that the Bride & Groom would like to keep.

It does vary depending on the type of venue you book for your ceremomy/reception. I would highly recommend to ask any venues you enquire with what the requirements for bumping-out are. Some venues may require you to remove any rubbish from their premise after your wedding. You will find that most dry hire venues ask you to clean up and pack down or they may charge a fee for this service. At venues that are all inlcusive, cleaning is generally apart of their hire/minimum spend. As an all inclusive venue ourselves, we can pack down our couples styling if they wish and will also remove any rubbish and clean the space after your wedding. 

As we are a self - do venue at Seclusions, we help assist with the set up if required, clean tiolets, remove rubbish and bottles, clean up the venue at the conclusion of your event and have your belongings in a central area for collection on the Sunday which makes for a smooth and easy exit on the Sunday.

Forget Me Not includes the cleanup in the hire.  If there was excessive cleaning a fee would be charged.  Rubbish must be removed from the property, but we do offer this for a fee.

 At St Joseph's guest house we take the rubbish away we simply ask our guest to bag it up into rubbish and recyclable rubbish and leave it out the front please contacts  Steve on 0418293732 for any further information 

At The Retreat, Port Stephens our wedding groups are to expected return the reception area as how it was found .  You will  find that your guests will generally pitch in and have it all cleaned up in no time.  Many hands make light work.  You have until 10am the day following your wedding to have your wedding packed down.  Alternatively, ask for a quote to have our housekeeping staff clean the reception area.
