Lunch time weddings are a fantastic option - particularly on a Sunday when everyone has work the next day! Lunch time weddings are becoming increasingly popular, especially for those couples who want to make the most of the day and enjoy their surrounds here at the beautiful Werribee Park.

I've been a wedding planner for 5 years, and luncheons are increasingly popular, and a great option for your wedding. It also stops the big day from dragging out until the late afternoon service. Plenty of lighting for group photos throughout the day.

Figs on Sylvan offer some fantastic Lunchtime options.

A lunch Wedding is a great option if you and your partner have a strong focus in dining and converstation. By all means you can still have a dancefloor and a band, but couples that select a lunch time frame Wedding are usually more about the menu on offer and having intimate converstations with friends and new family members.

Another bonus is, it allows the couple to do what ever they like that afternoon and evening. Plenty of opportunities for photo taking after a luncheon. You could arrange a small dinner, or a gettogether at the hotel room you may have organised for the night.

Lunchtime weddings are becoming more and more popular and there is no stigma attached to having one at this time. For many getting child care is easier during the day than at night making it easier for couples to attend. Some venues offer different rates for a lunch time over an evening reception. The best thing to do is to ring around and see who is offering the best deal. That doesn't mean the cheapest but the best value and quality.

Lunch time weddings are absolutely perfect particularly when you have decided upon a stunning garden wedding.  It provides the opportunity for guests to appreciate the surroundings, to relax and meander in the grounds.  It also provides freedom for children to attend as it is generally a family event.  The day is very busy and it is quite wonderful to have the evening to relax and reflect on the happenings of the day.

We are all for lunch time weddings and have celebrated quite a few here on the Estate.

No, I have had many weddings through a lunch period and this works well for those who have many people who have travelled far or wide for their special day and then you can spend more time in the evening with your newly married husband!

No I think its a great option. People that travel can get away at a much earlier time tio travel home. It also stops the day from dragging out until the service. The summer heat has not reached its peak so its more comfortable for those wearing suits/wedding gowns plus its much easier for baby sitters.
