Hi there.

Congratulations on your engagement!

You will find most venues book for peak wedding season 12-18 months in advance.

If you are flexible with your dates (i.e. wish to get married in Spring, but do not have a specific date) you most likely will find a venue that suits you within your desired season within 8 months of your wedding.

Good luck with the search for your perfect venue!

The choice is yours.

I always say to couples the longer you book the more likely you will have a full choice of all of your suppliers, the longer you leave it, the more likely they will be booked out.

If you have a date and location in mind then no, 12-18 months is the norm for securing our properties. If the date is flexible and its all about the content then the venue can be arranged further down the road but normally the venue is one of the first items to be taken care of on a to do list. Most successful wedding venues will have bookings in the diary for 2020 at this stage.

It really depends on numbers and what your vision is for your wedding. 12 months out is not unheard of to start the conversation.

We would recommend booking your date as soon as you have a preferred time in mind.

We are currently taking enquiries up until 2020 and as Athol Hall is only one room the availability is therefore limited.

So to avoid dissapointment we advise to book as soon as possible!
