Built in 1940, Marybrooke began as the grandest guesthouse in a chain of six heritage properties. Today, it has been beautifully restored to reflect its original charm and sophistication while providing the convenience and service couples expect for their wedding day. The eight-acre estate features manicured gardens, a picturesque gazebo lawn, and a heritage drawing room for timeless wedding photography.
Couples can exchange vows outdoors beneath the forest canopy or inside the elegant indoor ceremony space with garden views — a perfect backup in any weather. The reception room overlooks the landscaped gardens and includes a large dance floor, flexible seating, and romantic lighting. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés can be served in the Wine Garden or the intimate indoor bar. Yes. The Manor has 20 four star accommodation suites with ensuites, including an apartment which sleeps up to six. We also have a four bedroom cottage only 300 meters away that sleeps up to eight and is an ideal place for the groom to get ready on the day. The bride can get ready in our bridal lounge at the Manor. All acommodation rates include a fully cooked breakfast.
We can comfortably seat up to 110 guests in our reception room without reducing the size of the dancefloor. Note the dancefloor is portable, which gives us lots of flexibility with room layouts. The bar is also accessible from inside the reception room.
Absolutely. We have a lawn area set in front of a white gazebo where we provide white Americana chairs for all guests and several additional decorative options. We also have an indoor Chapel as a wet weather fall back that has lovely garden outlooks and a working fire place.
Definitely. Every couple has exclusive use of the venue since we only host one wedding a day. The restaurant is not open to the public.
Yes. Our packages include everything you will need including food, beverages, decorations, placecards, professional DJ and complimentary accommodation for you on your wedding night. We do not charge for having the bar open for spirit sales, providing an MC, using our grounds for your ceremony or photographs, or for cutting up your cake.
Absolutely. Part of our bridal lounge is set up like a make-up / hair salon, so the bride can spend all day there getting ready. Meanwhile, the boys can enjoy preparing at the Green Haven Cottage - pool table and all!
No. You should have exactly who you want at your wedding. That's why we don't impose a minimum number of guests. Instead, we have a minimum spend requirement, so if you have a smaller number of guests you can spend the difference on all sorts of optional extras - thereby getting value for every dollar you spend.
We try to let you have the wedding you really want! We therefore take pride in customising weddings to ensure they are truly personalised. This might mean decorative, food, timing or beverage changes. After all, each couple is unique, so their weddings should be aswell.

Under 18 can attend wedding venues, however they are not allowed to consume alcohol (regardless of whether their parents give their permission). Children & teens are most welcome at most wedding venues, however you would need to check with your actual venue if they have their own rules in place.

We host tastings every 2nd Thursday which cost just $80 for three course meal plus house wine, beer, sparkling. soft drink. You're welcome to bring as many people as you like to sample the food.

We are recently engaged and are looking for a small venue to host a food truck wedding for about 70-100 people?

We allow venue hire which allows couples to bring in a registered caterer to provide food and or beverages. Our venue is not really suited to food truck style event.
