Oakridge Wines

Entering through our long and scenic driveway, you are reached at the top by approximately 80 off street car parks. Oakridge offers enough adaquate space for transportation such as Buses, Coaches and trucks. Oakridge can also provide a list of local transport operators should you wish to provide a shuttle for your guests. We strongly reccommend looking into a bus or shuttle service of guest transport to/from your celebration as taxi's and Uber's are notoriously unrealiable in the area. Should guests need to leave their vehicle on the property overnight, please note that they do so at their own risk. Our gates are locked at the conculsion of your wedding, and will re-open at 9am the following day. 

Yes, Oakridge is acessible for all guests. The Oakridge venue is entirely wheelchair friendly with no steep ramps, steps or narrow doorways throughout the entire venue. Accessible toilet facilities are avaliable in both the cellar door and restaurant space. Disabled car parking is avaliable at the venue entrance. Please advise us if your guests have any paticular access requirements. 

Oakridge is a consistently operating winery. Throughout different stages of the year, Oakridge reserves the right to make any changes to the surroudings of the vineryards. Including the netting of the vines. Occasionally, restrictions may also apply to the use of our barrel room and winery at different times of the year. We do allow for couples to take photoghraphs in amongst the vineyards, or in front of them. 

Yes we do! Our gorgeous outdoor terrace is perfect for ceremonies, overlooking our vineyards. Our terrace can be covered from unanticipated bad weather. 

Ideally on your wedding day, we will make a decision by 11.00am -12.00pm to alert your suppliers and vendors of unsuitable weather for your outdoor ceremony. 

A) If it is not raining, but the ground is wet: 

In the worst case scenario, your ceremony will be moved to the decking area that opens into the ceremonial lawn. Alternatively, the ceremony could be shifted to the center deck situated between the restaurant and the Cellar door. 

B) Light rain on your wedding Day:

Our Central decking area between our Cellar Door and Restaurant provides some shelter from the rain, and additional umbrellas can be placed up.

C) Heavy Rain on the Day:

Our Barrel room can be arranged into a ceremonial space, situated indoors. But, the barrel room is subject to restriction of use due to specfifc times of year.
