FAQ
Yes, you can reserve a booking date without any obligation. We usually hold this booking in our system for 3 weeks. If we receive another inquiry for the date you are holding we shall contact you, giving you first option on the date.
Bookings are confirmed by payment of a deposit together with a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions of Business.

Regretfully No. The marina is private. There are commercial and public marinas nearby, such as Rose Bay wharf, which you can use. Most would require a short [5 minute] bus transfer to the venue.
Yes, by negotiation with us. Time extensions are charged per half hour per person. This covers venue hire and full beverage service.
Yes, we offer very affordable upgrade wines, sparkling wines, beers etc. plus special cocktails, spirits, etc.
The premises are fully licensed and liquor is supplied by the Royal Motor Yacht Club. In certain instances you may be permitted to supply alcohol for a nominal corkage charge to cover service and overheads.
The beverage packages are very attractively priced for you and the club will not offer drinks on a perconsumption basis.
Unfortunately your guests will not have early access to the RMYC, without prior arrangement. If required and by mutual consent, the RMYC can offer a cash bar or bar tab for early arrivals.
The RMYC onsite parking is for members only. However there is plentiful street parking along Wunulla road and up the fork to Wyuna road [with a public staircase directly across the road from the club]. Typically parking is manageable midweek and weekend evenings. Most difficult times are daytime parking at weekends during summer and spring.
Regretfully No. The marina is private and out of bounds. There are stunning photo shoot locations nearby; both walking distance and a short drive away.

Why would you? Zest is one of the foremost caterers in Australia, having won the top National awards from the Restaurant and Catering Association, “Caterer of the Year”. So the answer is “no”, unless you require kosher cater-ing. Accredited kosher caterers may cater at our venue, by arrangement.
Yes, price remains unchanged.
All professional suppliers are welcome. We can also refer excellent decorators to you.
Yes, our wedding packages include a selection of styling including table runners, candles, lanterns, napkin rings, French goblets, feature lighting, furniture and enhancements. We also have a range of upgrades such as floral centrepieces, glow bar, and chair covers. Please refer to our Styling brochure for further information.
No, we can refer you to excellent cake suppliers.

Yes, either in your booked room for a nominal cost or another room with an additional room hire charge.
Rose Bay Park, about 100 meters away, is rustic and pleasant. Blackburn Gardens, about 500m away, is also charming. McKell Park in Darling Point is spectacular and very popular. All require bookings made with the local council.
