The Hackett Hall Gallery

The Hackett Hall Gallery is an extraordinary venue space, available for your exclusive wedding reception.

This architecturally and historically significant space, once used as the State Library, features finely crafted stonemasonry and brickwork and high ornate ceilings.

The Hackett Hall Gallery is available exclusively for bookings from 1 October through to 31 December each year, making it a highly sought after venue.

Capacity - 370 Banquet, 550 cocktail style.

The Hackett Hall Foyer is the spectacular entrance to the Western Australian Museum.

An extraordinary design, its towering glass atrium is sharply contrasted against the tranquil backdrop of the Museum’s original historic buildings.

A wonderful venue for our wedding. The back drop of the museum provided a fantastic place for the ceremony, there was plenty of room to accommodate 150 guests for a sit down dinner and plenty of dancing was had on the dance floor under the stars a the museum staff were very helpful and guest had the opportunity visit the museum exhibits throughout the night.

The venue was fantastic. We had a cocktail wedding with minimal involvement from staff apart from booking which was fine. They have a beautiful balcony which you can hire lights for. Really great for photos!

Due to a cancellation with a previous venue we were under the pump to find another ceremony venue! Luckily the team at the maritime museum were super understanding and had a free saturday! So glad we had to make the change because it was a spectacular venue!
