OUR ESTATE

When you book Buckland Estate, you get exclusive use of the whole property for your day. You don't share the grounds, the guests, or the photos with anyone else. Just you, your people, and our grounds.

What past couples tell us they loved most is being able to keep everyone close for the night and the morning after, not just the afternoon. Guests are invited to stay as long as you want, across the homestead, two heritage cottages, glamping tents and the camping grounds, so the celebration doesn't have to end when the reception does.

CEREMONY LOCATIONS

We invite all of our couples to get married wherever feels right. Whether that's:

• In front of the homestead
• Down by the lake
• Out in one of the fields

Whichever suits the day you've pictured, we'll arrange it for you.

ACCOMMODATION

• Buckland Homestead, the original heritage building at the heart of the estate, established in 1836
• Dempster Cottage, a heritage-listed stone cottage with a small kitchen, a spa bath, and a veranda looking out over the property
• Daisy Cottage, a larger cottage with a pot belly fireplace, full kitchen and dining area, and its own veranda
• Glamping Village, 20 tents available as an add-on, with proper beds, quality linen, power and electric blankets
• Camping grounds, for guests happy to bring a caravan or tent and make a night of it

The Buckland Homestead has many separate rooms for you and your partner to get ready in, with multiple rooms in the house set aside just for formal photography, so you're never fighting the sunset or a crowd of guests for the photo you'll still love in twenty years.

Pricing depends on the day and season you choose, with weekday and off-season rates available, and no hidden costs added on later.

OUR PROCESS

1. Hire the venue and build the day your way
2. Bring in your own caterer, alcohol and styling
3. We'll point you toward the trusted suppliers we've worked with for years
4. Or hand it all over to Confetti & Co, who can style and run the whole day for you
5. Glamping and furniture hire available as add-ons
6. Guests can cover their own glamping tent instead of it coming out of your budget, something we're happy to help organise

Plus, we have plenty of parking.

"What a wedding venue! We had our wedding at Buckland Estate over the weekend and couldn't have asked for a better venue. Buckland offers so much more than just the golden paddocks, beautiful homestead building and wedding barn, which give you the perfect backdrop for great photos. We had our guests stay over the weekend across the cottages, homestead, camping ground and glamping tents. Russell and Di were an absolute breeze to deal with, and we had such a stress-free lead-up to the wedding. On the weekend itself, nothing was too difficult for any of the awesome staff who accommodated every request (Russell even let us use his tractor for the ceremony!). We were able to have our dream wedding, and Buckland Estate was a huge part of that."
