Choosing Metropolis as the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception was the best decision that we made! Our coordinator Kirstin was a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to our day. The lines of communication were always open and she was happy to address whatever questions we had (there were a lot!). Carla, our attendant for the day was so lovely along with all of the staff that we dealt with on the day. The food was amazing, so many of our guests commented on how friendly and accommodating staff were, service was fantastic- staff were so attentive and no request was too much for them. Finally, the venue itself is such a beautiful space and the view from the windows is unrivalled. We wanted a venue that is uniquely Melbourne and we got it!

Metropolis is truly incredible! From the moment I met Trish for a venue tour, I knew we were in good hands. She thoughtfully arranged a private walkthrough for my mother and me, complete with dessert canapés and drink options to make our appointment as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Our wedding coordinator, Natasha Deuten, was an absolute joy to work with. No matter how many questions or concerns I had (and there were plenty!), she was consistently calm, kind, and reassuring. Her presence gave me so much peace of mind—I always felt that everything was under control, even without needing to ask. On the day of the reception, the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and at ease. Little touches, like guiding me through the “secret” passage between bridal suites, made everything feel extra special. Toff, the technical guru at Metropolis, was endlessly helpful and incredibly patient with all my adjustments. He always found the most cost-effective solutions to bring my ideas to life and made the entire planning process feel seamless. If you’re looking for a team that cares deeply and executes flawlessly without the hidden, expensive fees (that other venues surprise you with)—Metropolis is it!

To the Q events Team. Thank you so much for the Magical Evening. A huge thank you to Carleen, Marijana & Hope. Who worked meticulously throughout the months leading up to our wedding 24.02.24, as well as the staff who delivered raving service. Our guest spoke highly of the friendly faces, food and warm atmosphere. They worked amazingly well with our vendors and were lovely to our family and friends who joined us on the day.
