why do some venues not allow pets?

We all love our pets and they are really part of the family, but unfortunately due to Health Regulations,

they are not permitted inside venues where food is being served unless it is a guide dog or assistance

dog.

best month to get married in?

In Melbourne, one of the most popular times to be married is within the Summer months.  However, here at The Brighton Savoy we can offer you a Wedding Reception with a Beach Back Up Ceremony option throughout the entire year due to Melbournes unpredicable weather.  In case of inclement weather the following is available on stand-by as a back up for your ceremony.

Gala Ball Room - GALA ATRIUM, Seaview Room - SEAVIEW DANCE FLOOR, Wellington Room - WELLINGTON DANCE FLOOR and our Terrace Dinning Room - PORT PHILLIP ROOM.

We provide you with red carpet, skirted table for signing of the register, floral arrangement and candelabra for table and 24 outdoor white chairs.

The decision to host the ceremony on the beach or on your back up location can be made as late as 15 minutes prior to the ceremony commencement time.

We are open for viewing every Saturday & Sunday between 12noon – 5.00pm, no appointment necessary as there is always one of our wedding team on hand to meet and get to know you better & answer any questions you may have.

Congratulations on your engagement,

What should I consider when looking for my wedding venue?

I'm about to start looking for my wedding venue. What are some things that I need to consider when searching for the perfect venue?

As an award winning wedding venue located overlooking the bay in Brighton, Victoria, here are some of the thing you may wish to consider when selecting your wedding venue.

1) How long has the venue been in operation for, and do they have a history of hosting wedding reception  with guest numbers similar to you,

2) Can you venue host both a ceremony and reception for non religious ceremonies

3) if there an events team on hand to service and support your wedding, as opposed to just one person.

4) Location - does the location suit your guests and your family and friends. Are the Logistics or having your guests travel 2 hours to a regional venue going to work?

5) Can you  get a feel for the style of catering and service offered by the venue.

6) Car parking, is carparking available and are there charges involved ?

How far in advance should I book my wedding venue?
