Anglers Tavern

We hired a private space for most of our wedding guests to join us for prewedding drinks and dinner the night before our wedding. Unfortunately the lead up to the night wasn’t great. Their communication was poor, they made you feel like you were imposing on them with such a group size. They phoned me multiple times making me feel like pulling the pin until my husband rang them and told them to either figure it out or we’re going elsewhere. When they realised they were about to lose a 48 person booking over their unprofessional handling of the booking they quickly changed their tunes. In the night it was hap hazard and not the best. The food overall was alright but the service was very lacking.

They were extremely difficult to get a hold of to arrange meetings leading up to the wedding though they came through and made our day perfect. They did all the decorating and made my vision come to life. Food was even better then expected. Staff were absolutely fantastic and very accommodating. Security were extremely rude to our guests.

Fantastic Venue, we had a great day awesome party. Leyna was amazing she made everything so easy for us.
