Your ceremony can be beautifully positioned within the gardens, whether you picture exchanging vows beneath mature trees, in a secluded garden setting or surrounded by the expansive lawns.
Ceremonies are available from 4pm, allowing you to make the most of the afternoon light before your celebration flows into an evening reception.
For receptions, our lawns provide a beautiful blank canvas for a marquee or tipi, creating a relaxed and personalised space for dining, drinks, dancing and celebrating. Couples can work with our recommended on-site styling and hire team to bring their vision together, from furniture and lighting through to the finishing touches.
Our team takes care of the venue and beverage service, with all beverages supplied by Rivendell Winery. Beverage packages are available to suit different wedding styles, with Rivendell Estate wines complemented by local beers, spirits and cocktails.
Gourmet Cocktail-Style Catering
For couples wanting a relaxed dining experience with a gourmet touch, Rivendell Winery offers its own in-house cocktail-style catering menu.
The menu features a selection of gourmet options designed to be enjoyed throughout the celebration, with beautifully presented food that complements the relaxed atmosphere of a garden winery wedding.
Our in-house catering is available exclusively as a cocktail-style offering, making it ideal for couples who want guests to mingle, enjoy drinks, explore the gardens and celebrate without the formality of a traditional seated reception.
For couples who have a different catering vision, Rivendell also offers the flexibility to work with professional external caterers, allowing you to create a menu and dining experience tailored to your celebration.

Our collection of self-contained villas and holiday homes can accommodate up to 80 guests on-site, allowing family and friends to stay together across the wedding weekend.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful grounds, tennis court, playground and relaxed winery surroundings, creating plenty of opportunities to spend quality time together before and after the wedding.

Rivendell Winery welcomes weddings of all sizes, from intimate weddings with 20 guests up to 200 hosted in our beautiful gardens for your ceremony and with a marquee or tent for your reception. During the warmer summer months we welcome receptions without tents for those who wish to be completely surrounded by the natural beauty of the gardens and the Yallingup Hills beyond, situated on our lush lawns.
Yes - we are a dog friendly venue and welcome your four legged friend to join you. A couple of the holiday homes on site are also dog friendly so they can stay the night with you.
At Rivendell we have twelve holiday homes available for hire should you wish to stay on site. The holiday homes are fully self contained and vary from 3 to 5 bedrooms. Booking of the holiday homes is an optional extra for your special day. All of the holiday homes have access to use of the onsite tennis court and are within walking distance of the ceremony and reception area as well as the onsite restaurant and cellar door.
Rivendell hosts a great variety of beautiful photo backdrops on the property. You can choose between vineyards, rustic fields, forest and native bush, dams and large trees to mention a few. And of course our beautiful gardens. We are also situated only 8 minutes from Smiths beach - one of the world famous beaches of the Margaret River region with the sun setting over the ocean every night...
Rivendell offers beverage packages that will be served from 4:30pm until close. The packages include beer, wine and soft drinks. If you choose the premium package you can include a cocktail or two spirits. Check out our latest packages for up to date pricing and availability.
Yes, we encourage couples to make the most of their destination wedding here at Rivendell. The restaurant offers lunch and Rivendell's premium wine range can be tasted at the cellar door. The restaurant also offers a selection of cocktails and beers on tap and provides a perfect pre or post celebration venue. Why not book a few tables on our deck for luch, or reserve the picnic table section for celebratory drinks to extend your wedding weekend.
Our beautiful gardens provide the most popular ceremony spots on site. We also offer ceremonies in the bush, by large peppermint trees and with the backdrop of our farm dams.
Rivendell Winery offers a selection of gourmet foods for a cocktail style celebration. The packages are available on request. Rivendell also welcomes third parties for catering. A selection of preferred suppliers is provided in our brouchure.
Rivendell provides all the drinks for your wedding celebrations. No BYO drinks are offered.
Yes you are welcome to add a cocktail hour before your reception or a welcome cocktail upon arrival at the reception. If you choose our premium beverage package you can include one sigature cocktail in your drinks package.
