Eight Acres offers exclusive use of the entire property from Friday to Sunday. With accommodation for up to 55 guests across our glamping tents and farm cottages, everything you need is in the one place— your ceremony, reception and guest stay — creating a relaxed, seamless and truly memorable celebration.
No rushing between locations. No strict timelines. Just more time to celebrate, unwind and soak up every moment with your favourite people.
Exchange vows under the gum trees, move effortlessly into a Wedshed reception, and dance the night away under the festoon lights. Start the weekend with welcome drinks by the pool or gathered around the bonfire, celebrate your wedding day on Saturday, and wind down with a relaxed recovery breakfast on Sunday.

Hi, we're Ellis & Pete — the owners of Eight Acres Lakes Entrance. We purchased the property in 2020 and have been thoughtfully transforming it into a relaxed, coastal farm wedding venue designed for unforgettable weekend celebrations. What started as a passion project has quickly grown into something incredibly special. As a busy family with three young kids, we truly understand how important it is to create meaningful moments and bring people together. We can't wait to welcome you!

FAQ
Our property lay-out doesn't allow to have events onsite mixed with regular guests, hence why you'll have exclusive access to the entire property including the accommodation. This is what makes Eight Acres so unique, to have your wedding and an amazing getaway for your guests at the same time. Therefore, it is not possible to hire the property for your ceremony only.

The property includes accommodation for up to 55 people across our 7 x 2-bedroom cottages and 5 Glamping tents:
7x15m, 105m2
You'll have access to the property from 10am on arrival day and until 12pm on departure day. This gives you time for your hire equipment to arrive and be set up, as well as time after the event for everything to be packed down and picked up.
The Wedshed includes a basic set up with 8 wine barrels and 16 metal bar stools. Any other required furniture can be hired through our recommended vendors.
As per council noise regulations; all amplified music must be turned off by 10:30pm on Friday, Saturday or the day immediately before a public holiday and 10pm on weekdays.
That doesn't mean the party has to finish as you can pick a designated spot on the property to party on with your guests staying onsite, just no amplified music.
