Brisbane Powerhouse has two ceremony spaces on offer, the Riverbend Terrace and the Turbine Platform.
The Riverbend Terrace is a spacious covered deck with magnificent views of the Brisbane River. This ceremony space can accommodate up to 80 guests comfortably.
The Turbine Platform is a large cathedral-like space adjacent to the bar and main foyer. This impactful venue can accommodate up to 150 guests.
Brisbane Powerhouse has several reception spaces, lending themselves perfectly to either intimate receptions of just 30 guests or larger celebrations of up to 450.
The Riverbend Terrace is a spacious covered deck with 180 degree views of the Brisbane River. The deck can accommmodate a seated meal for up to 40 guests, or a cocktail reception of up to 75.
The Rooftop Terrace boasts heritage listed graffiti walls, bay windows and a covered deck with million dollar views overlooking the Brisbane River. The internal room is accompanied by a private deck, that is perfect for your cocktail hour. This space can accommodate up to 80 guests seated, or 150 in a cocktail style setting.
Set on the lawn in frotn of Brisbane Powerhouse, the Pleausuredome is a magnificent ivory-sailcloth tent located in New Farm. Boasting a superb river outlook, this venue is designed to make an enduring impression. The Pleasuredome boasts 520sm2 of floor space and has the ability to host up to 312 guests seated, or 450 guests cocktail style.
We welcome all couples to capture their wedding in front of our iconic brick wall, in our ruins and in the surrounding parklands. Wedding photography inside our building is reserved for couples hosting their event onsite.

With an outstanding reputation and a track record that speaks for itself, Wine & Dine’m Catering commits to consistently delivering food that celebrates all that is fresh and contemporary. They are Brisbane's premiere catering service with over 20 years’ experience delivering memorable events across South-East Queensland. In 2022 Wine & Dine'm Catering was awarded the grand title of Event Caterer of the year & finalist Wedding Caterer for QLD.

CITYCAT: The New Farm Ferry Terminal is located approximately 300m from Brisbane Powerhouse.
BUS SERVICE: The 195 and 196 bus services stop at the end of Brunswick Street at Oxlade Drive, on the East side of New Farm Park. The 199 bus stops at Merthyr Road and Hawthorne Street. Both stops are a short walk away from Brisbane Powerhouse. For more information on public

PARKING: Our car park has 148 car park spaces including six designated accessible parking spaces for permit holders. The car park operates 24/7 and parking can be paid for at the automatic pay station located adjacent to the car park, or on exit. New Farm Park offers more than 200 free car parking spaces. During busy periods we open a one-way link road Wed-Sat from 5pm which connects to New Farm Park.
TAXI AND RIDESHARE: A dedicated pick-up/drop-off area for taxi, rideshare and coaches is located on New Farm Park ring road.
RIVER HUB: The New Farm Park River Hub is located directly in front of Brisbane Powerhouse with easy vessel access for tour boats and recreational vessels.
