The Brisbane Powerhouse was a perfect venue for our wedding. It's chic inner-city and historical at the same time. The venue feels quintessentially Brisbane and has an edginess to it that felt very unique. We opted for the Riverbend Terrace for our ceremony and had a beautiful view of the Brisbane River, during our private cocktail hour we had a sunset view of the city and New Farm Park, followed by the reception in the Pump Room, which felt warm and intimate, but still a great vibe for dancing! Our experience working with the staff at the Powerhouse, notably our dedicated wedding coordinator, made the whole experience very easy! The staff are experienced and guided us through the planning of our big day with ease and expert guidance, and they were all very friendly, helpful and approachable. They coordinated with our vendors and did all the set-up work for styling the spaces we used. On they day, everything went so smoothly and truly felt I was able to be a guest at my own wedding. The catering team at Wine & Dine'm were exceptional throughout the whole night, very high quality service and the food was excellent. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback about our wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the night. We highly recommend the Brisbane Powerhouse to any couples that are looking for something unique at this Brisbane icon, and are so lucky to be a small part of this building incredible history.
