Coragulac House, this magnificent blue stone mansion located in Coragulac Victoria is situated on 140 acres of pristine farming land, reminicent of beautiful English country side.
The Homestead is set at the rear of the property nestled at the foot of Red Rock Scenic Lookout, offering stunning views across the landscape to the Otway Ranges
The elevated wrap around veranda set above the expansive lawns and gardens, is accented with yellow and white standard roses framing the veranda, offering the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony.
Whilst guests gather on the lawns in anticipation of your arrival, you will be preparing for your gracious entrance in the ladies parlour with your entourage, perhaps sipping on a glass of sparkles to settle the nerves and taking the time to ensure everthing is just perfect.
The Coach House and Stables are situated behind the Homestead, with baltic pine vaulted ceilings, cobble stone floors and white washed walls offering a truly unique and rustic setting for your reception.
Your guests will be seated at long polished timber trestle tables with upholstered chairs, more than 100 festoon lights adorn the ceiling in the stables with a rustic chandelier as the centrepiece.
Your guests will delight in the options that your caterers can be provide, limited only by your imagination, spit roast buffets, casual BBQ, traditional sit down dinner or a substantial cocktail grazing menu.
With the original stalls still in place, this makes a fabulous spaces for guests to gather for drinks and reflect on the unique atmosphere you have created for your special day.
Monash Cottage has accommodation for up to 6 persons and is available for your use for two nights, additional accommodation options are also available in the Homestead for an additional cost.
The Stables can accommodate up to 130 persons seated or up to 250 cocktail style.
Coragulac House was built in 1873 by the pioneering Pastoralists “Robertson family”, the Homestead has been privately owned throughout its history.
On entering the Homestead you are immersed in the majestic architecture of the Entrance Hall, with a 6 metre vaulted cedar panelled ceiling and original embossed wallpapers, featuring the Robertson’s family crest “Riding to Hounds”.
An Art Nouveau chandelier makes a stunning centrepiece, and the oversized English oak mantelpiece incorporating a beaten copper insignia of duelling dragons authenticates the grandeur of the Entrance Hall.
As you enter this magnificent Homestead, you will be stunned by the beautiful architecture as you make their way through each room soaking up the history of a bygone era.

After 20 years experience in the service and hospitality industries my husband Garry and I purchased Coragulac House, we now offer the homestead as a unique wedding and events venue. Previously, we owned a boutique Hotel and events venue in Melbourne, I personally managed the special events specialising in Weddings. Since then we have been developing Coragulac House establishing the gardens, renovating the interiors and outbuildings as a unique Wedding Venue.
