Imagine a long dinner in the Italian countryside. Everyone you love gathered around one beautiful table, curving around an old stone fountain. Wine being poured, candles flickering, music playing and festoon lights beginning to glow as afternoon turns into evening.

That feeling is at the heart of Frog Hollow Estate.

Hidden beside the Wombat State Forest in the Daylesford region, Frog Hollow is a privately owned country estate created for couples wanting something elegant, romantic and a little different from the traditional wedding venue.

At the heart of the estate is our Tuscan-inspired outdoor dining terrace. Elevated above the grounds and reached by a grand stone staircase, the terrace is finished in beautiful French-pattern stone paving with an old-world fountain at its centre. Our custom serpentine tables sweep around the fountain, bringing everyone together for a dining experience that feels intimate even with a full celebration around you.

As evening falls, candles fill the tables, the fountain glows and festoon lights illuminate the terrace. It’s relaxed and romantic, but still beautifully elegant.

And Frog Hollow is so much more than one beautiful space.

Your ceremony can take place outside at the edge of the forest, with an elegant indoor ceremony space always available. Afterwards, guests can move naturally through the grounds before gathering on the terrace for dinner and later heading into the Stone Barn for music and dancing.
